About Me
but honestly…I’ve never liked to write about me.
The thing is I don't know how my story can be useful to you.
But hey, let's do it anyway...
If you are curious here’s a very brief timeline of mine.
I am not into “personal branding” so I am not going to distort reality just to show you a good-looking story about me.
1982: Born in Milan
1996: Studied Classical High-School
2001-2006: Studied Economic and Management at Bocconi University
2005: Spent 4 months (aug-dec) studying in India at Indian Institute of Management. Loved every minute.
2006: Back to India for my final thesis. I didn’t have any interest in my thesis. I honestly just made a thesis that would allow me to go back to India.
2007: I join a tech startup in Milan for three months. Learned absolutely zero, the company eventually failed.
2007: first time visiting Silicon Valley.
2008: I work at a publishing house in Milan for about 1 year. Interesting but the 2008 crisis hit and companies stop spending money on advertising and the company let go some people. I was among those.
2009: along with some friends, I started the first Italian chapter of The Hub, an international network of people and spaces for social innovation and social entrepreneurship. Absolutely loved it. We quickly grew a strong community around us and got featured in every major Italian publication and newspaper.
2012: while the project was doing well, among the three of us founders we have different opinions and ideas about the future of The Hub. I sold my (very little) shares.
2012: Moved to Berlin for a few months and essentially started freelancing.
2014: I am now back in Milan and have become father to two twins girls.
